We were in Olso for one Weekend. Easy to reach with Train from the Airport. Really nice Hotel, very clean, best Breakfast ever. Also perfect situated for a Walk to the City Centre. We were really satisfied at all. Staff was very friendly. Thank you for this nice Stay.

We (2 adults and a 6 year old) stayed a night paid with bonus points. We were so lucky to get a free upgrade to a superior room. The room was spacious, clean, pretty and nice. The two people in the reception was really really friendly and service minded! We were so «lucky» to experience hotel evacuation after bedtime (the firealarm went off), and they even made that experience a good one! The breakfast was Thon-standard - NICE! They could have offered more bagels/rolls though… Downtown is about 5-10 minutes by foot og two minutes by trikk. All in all, a nice stay at Thon as always :)

Great location near rhe Royal Palace. 5min walk to nearest Tube and shopping district. Excellent buffet breakfast, friendly and helpful staff plus complimentary coffee in reception. Also a good quality gym with machines and free weights

The room itself was incredibly small and had very very poor sound proofing. It was as if there were elephants in the room above us and the loud, intermittent noise from the fridge is very irritating. The bed is very small and the pillows are even smaller so very uncomfortable. When asked for another pillow (on all 4 nights) I was told that the hotel was full and they didn't have any spare or that the cleaners cupboard was locked and nobody else had a key. The beddings or towels were not changed during our 4 night stay. The floor wasn't cleaned once (It was very snowy outside so was a real mess). The bathroom is not very pretty and the fact the shower screen doesn't reach the floor means the room can get quite wet. I also think the raised bathroom floor is a bit of a trip hazard. The free toiletries were one 'all over shampoo'. Overall I find the room incredibly small and very basic and I am really disappointed. Fortunately breakfast was quite nice and varied, although the hot food options were not very warm. It is also disappointing that there isn't a nice seating or bar area to sit in too. Finally on a personal note, I did send an email via stating it was my birthday (my partner and I usually go away every year) and they didn't even leave a note mentioning this. I tried to mention my issues to reception several times but was told there was nothing that could be done as no manager was available. I tried to call down and had to wait 30 mins on the hotel phone. Lastly I also sent an email mentioning all of the above to both the specific hotel and a main Thon email address on day one and I still haven't even had acknowledgement of this. Shocking level of customer service and I will not be using this chain again.

We have stayed 3 weeks at Slottsparken hotel during this autumn. We are very pleased! The hotel staff are very helpful, pleasant and you feel welcome. The hotel breakfast is great, delicious and it's easy to eat healthy. There is always plenty of space in the restaurant and it is possible to sit in larger groups. The coffee latte is 10 stars! The rooms are always clean and tidy, and most rooms have a small kitchen or at least a fridge. The hotel has fresh colors and good sofas in the reception area. There is free coffee and water with or without sparks. The hotel has recently got a wine bar in the cellar "The Cave". Modern colors and staff who have excellente knowledge of wine! Definitely worth a visit! The Hotel is close to the city center and the tram is just around the corner. highly recommend Thon Hotel Slottsparken! I’ve allready planed a 3 week stay in 2024. Thank you!
